Description

Fully loaded chocolate cookies. Soft in the inside and crisp around the edges.This recipe is a never-fail and a must-try!

Ingredients

  • 3 ounces, weight Unsalted Butter
  • 2 ounces, weight Soft Light Brown Sugar
  • 1  Egg
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Essence
  • 6 ounces, weight Plain Flour, Sifted
  • 1 ounce, weight Cocoa, Sifted
  • ¼ teaspoons Baking Powder
  • ¼ teaspoons Salt
  • 3-½ ounces, weight Milk Or White Chocolate Chunks

Preparation

Preheat oven to 180 C.

In a large bowl whisk together the butter and sugar with an electric whisk until pale and fluffy. Add egg and vanilla and mix well. Mix in the flour, cocoa, baking powder, salt and chocolate chunks. Mix to form a soft dough.

Place walnut sized scoops of dough onto a greased baking tray, spacing them about 2 inches apart. Flatten them slightly with a damp fork and bake for 10 minutes.

Remove tray from oven. Cool cookies on the tray for 10 minutes then transfer onto a rack to cool completely.
