Description

These are super yummy!

Ingredients

  • ½ cups Organic Butter
  • 1-½ cup Organic Sugar
  • ¼ cups Organic Applesauce
  • 1-¼ teaspoon Baking Powder, Divided
  • 1 cup Canned Pumpkin
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla
  • 2-½ cups Organic Flour
  • 1 teaspoon Baking Soda
  • 1 teaspoon Nutmeg
  • 1 teaspoon Cinnamon
  • ¼ teaspoons Salt
  • 1 cup Mini Chocolate Chips

Preparation

Melt butter and combine with sugar until creamy. In small bowl stir applesauce and 1/2 teaspoon baking powder. Add to the butter and sugar mixture. Mix in pumpkin and vanilla.

Sift flour, baking soda, the remaining 3/4 teaspoon baking powder, nutmeg, cinnamon and salt in a separate bowl. Add to the pumpkin mixture and mix well. Add chocolate chips and stir them throughout the mixture.

Take a spoon and drop cookies onto an ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 300 degrees for 18-22 minutes or until golden on top. Cool on a rack and enjoy!

I made these cookies today and they are great! They were super easy to make and my kids loved them. I did 1/2 whole wheat flour and 1/2 regular flour and they turned out just fine. Thanks for sharing a great recipe and I will be making more soon :)
