Description

Delicious brittle to snack on or wrap up to bring to a friend or family member!

Ingredients

  • 16 ounces, weight Semi-sweet Chocolate Morsels
  • 12 ounces, weight Dried Cherries, Chopped Into Small Pieces
  • 5 ounces, weight Almond Slices Or Slivers
  • 1 cup Honey
  • ½ cups Karo Syrup, Or Clear Corn Syrup

Preparation

In a large microwave safe bowl, add semi chocolate morsels. Cover and microwave in 1-minute intervals to melt the chocolate, stirring in between intervals. Add chopped cherries into melted chocolate. Add almond slices, honey, and stir well with a spatula. Add Karo syrup and mix well together.

On a large 9×12 sheet pan (nonstick), add the mixture and spread out evenly with an offset spatula. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate 1 hour.

Remove from refrigerator and break into pieces. Store in airtight containers or Ziploc bags.

A delicious snack! Enjoy.
