Description

These are your basic butterscotch chip cookies!

Ingredients

  • 2 sticks Butter, Softened
  • 1 cup Packed Brown Sugar
  • 2 whole Eggs
  • 3 Tablespoons Heavy Whipping Cream
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
  • 2-½ cups All-purpose Flour
  • ¾ teaspoons Baking Soda
  • ¾ teaspoons Salt
  • 11 ounces, weight Butterscotch Chips
  • 1 cup Nuts (optional)

Preparation

Preheat oven to 375F.

Mix butter and brown sugar until light and creamy.

Mix in eggs, heavy whipping cream and vanilla.

Mix in flour, baking soda and salt until mixed thoroughly.

Mix in butterscotch chips and nuts.

Use a scoop to drop, 1 1/2 inches apart, onto greased baking sheets or parchment paper.

Bake for 11 to 12 minutes.

Cool 2 minutes and remove to a wire rack.
