Description

The absolute BEST cookies ever! Be careful not to over bake them. These are a favorite of family and friends.

Ingredients

  • 2-¼ cups Flour
  • 1 teaspoon Baking Soda
  • ¾ teaspoons Salt
  • ¾ cups Butter, Room Temperature
  • 1-¼ cup Brown Sugar
  • 1-½ teaspoon Vanilla Extract
  • 1 whole Egg
  • 1 cup Chocolate Chips

Preparation

Preheat oven to 35oF.

In a small bowl, combine flour, baking soda and salt.

In a large bowl, beat butter and brown sugar until light, about 2 minutes. Add vanilla and egg, beat until smooth.

Gradually add flour mixture at low speed, mix until dough has come together and you don’t see any more streaks of flour.

Stir in chocolate chips.

Drop by rounded tablespoonfuls onto cookie sheets. Bake 9-11 minutes or until just golden on edges.

Note: When measuring flour for this recipe, spoon it gently into the measuring cup and level it across the top. Don’t scoop it from the flour container.
