These cookies are so easy to make and very delicious. Watch the butter closely as you’re browning it because it can burn very quickly!
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Brown butter in a saucepan over medium heat until just browned.
Combine flour, salt, and baking soda. Whisk together and set aside.
Pour browned butter into the bowl of a stand mixer. Add white and brown sugars.
Cream butter and sugars on medium speed.
Add egg, yolk, cream, and vanilla and mix until well combined.
Slowly add flour mixture until thoroughly combined.
Stir in chocolate chips.
Roll dough into balls and place on greased baking sheet.
Bake for 5-7 minutes, until cookies are just browning around the edges.

I love this recipe! It’s adapted from Alton Brown’s recipe and is so good! He simply melts the butter, but I love the nutty-caramel flavor that browned butter imparts on cookies! Yum!
