Description

Growing up we called these “Feel Good” cookies; if served while wrapped up in the “healing blanket” they could cure anything that ailed us.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups Sugar
  • 4 Tablespoons Bittersweet Powdered Hershey's Cocoa
  • 1 stick Butter Or Margarine
  • ½ cups Milk
  • 3-½ cups Quaker 1-Minute Oats
  • ½ cups Peanut Butter
  • 2 teaspoons Vanilla

Preparation

Mix Sugar and Cocoa.

Stir in Milk.

Heat Sugar, Cocoa and Milk on stove. Put in stick of butter to melt as the mixture heats up.

Bring mixture to a roiling boil for 2 minutes*.

Quickly stir in Peanut Butter, Oats & Vanilla.

Drop out in spoonfuls on wax paper to harden.

EAT!

——————————–
*If you undercook the mixture the cookies will not harden. If you overcook the mixture, the cookies will harden before you can get them out of the pan.

Could you re-write your recipe and tell us how much peanut butter is supposed to go in to them??? I’d love to try them, but you need to add some information!!
