I made these snickerdoodles early one Sunday morning for my dad’s birthday.
Heat oven to 400 degrees.
Mix Crisco, butter, 1 1/2 cups sugar, and eggs thoroughly. Sift together dry ingredients (except cinnamon) and mix in. Roll into small balls, then roll balls in a mixture of 2 tablespoons sugar and 2 teaspoons cinnamon.
Place on an ungreased cookie sheet. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes.
