Crunchy on the outside, soft and moist on the inside. Easy to make, and hard to mess up.
1. Cream butter and sugars at medium speed until creamy.
2. Add eggs and vanilla until blended.
3. Combine flour, baking soda, and salt in a small bowl; gradually add to the butter mixture, beating until just blended.
4. Beat in morsels until combined well. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour, then preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
4. Bake in parchment-lined cookie sheets at 350 degrees F for 10-12 minutes. Usually 12 is enough.
5. Cool completely on wire racks.
