Description

A delicious, CREAMY version of an old favorite!

Ingredients

  • 1 box Nilla Wafers
  • 2 boxes Instant Vanilla Pudding Mix (small Boxes)
  • 1 can Eagle Brand Condensed Milk, 14 Oz
  • 1 bunch Bananas, Sliced (about 4-6)
  • 3 cups Milk
  • 16 ounces, fluid Cool Whip (Large Container)

Preparation

Line bottom of a 13×9 baking dish (or trifle bowl) with vanilla wafers. Layer sliced bananas on top of wafers until covered. In a large mixing bowl, mix instant pudding and 3 cups of milk. Next, add Eagle brand milk then fold in Cool Whip. Spread Mixture over bananas. (You can make several layers of wafers, bananas and pudding mixture.) Refrigerate and enjoy! This is always a big hit at gatherings.

I just made this nanner pudding(20 servings) for my husbands grandmothers 80th birthday. I was just wondering what makes it texas style? Plus I want to add that this makes way more than what you need. Just for 20 servings, I filled the 13×9 pan slam to the top plus had filling left over to make 2 small dishes. The recipe needs to be adjusted. But boy does it have a wonderful taste! I can’t wait for my family to dig in it this afternoon!
