Description

These oatmeal raisin cookies are great! Easy to customize!

Ingredients

  • 1 cup All-purpose Flour
  • ½ teaspoons Baking Soda
  • ½ teaspoons Baking Powder
  • ¼ teaspoons Salt
  • 1-½ cup Oats
  • ½ cups Salted Butter
  • ½ cups Brown Sugar
  • ¼ cups Granulated Sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla
  • 1 whole Egg
  • ¾ cups Raisins

Preparation

Preheat oven to 350 F.

Combine flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt and oats in a bowl and set aside.

In a large bowl, cream together butter and sugars. Add in vanilla and egg and mix on high until light and fluffy.

Add dry ingredients into the butter mixture slowly until completely mixed together. Stir in raisins.

Drop by tablespoonfuls onto a parchment paper-lined cookie sheet. Bake for 10-11 minutes.

Notes:
– You can use either quick-cooking oats or old fashioned. I’ve made this recipe with both and you can’t really tell a difference.
– This recipe is super easy to customize. You can add more/less raisins, leave them out all together, or add in something different (cran-raisins, chocolate chips, etc.).

Yummy! Made these over Christmas and just added a bit of cinnamon. Thank you!

Lovely. I used a little less raisins and added in some coconut…and they were great. Thanks!
