Who wouldn’t want these classic after-school flavors in cookie form?
1. In a large bowl, prepare oatmeal cookies as directed on the package. Stir in peanut butter chips and dried apples.
2. Drop by tablespoonfuls onto a parchment-lined baking sheet. Set the oven to the temperature indicated on the cookie mix package.
3. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes, or until golden brown. Remove from the oven and cool completely.
4. While cookies cool, melt almond bark in the microwave according to package directions.
4. Stir in peanut butter and cinnamon until it reaches a smooth consistency. Allow to cool for a few minutes.
5. Stuff cooled icing into a piping bag or zip top bag. Snip the edge and drizzle over cookies.
