Description

Yummy apple goodness!

Ingredients

  • 2 cups Flour
  • 1 teaspoon Baking Soda
  • 1 teaspoon Cinnamon
  • ½ teaspoons Ground Cloves
  • ½ teaspoons Nutmeg
  • ½ teaspoons Salt
  • ½ cups Butter, Softened
  • 1 cup Brown Sugar
  • 1 whole Egg, Beaten
  • 1 cup Chopped Walnuts
  • 1 cup Chopped Apples
  • 1 cup Powdered Sugar (for Glaze)
  • 1 Tablespoon Milk (for Glaze)

Preparation

Sift together dry ingredients (flour, baking soda, cinnamon, cloves, nutmeg & salt).

In a separate bowl, cream together butter, sugar and egg. Stir into dry mixture. Fold in apples and walnuts. Drop teaspoonfuls onto greased cookie sheet

Bake for 12 minutes at 350 degrees Fahrenheit and allow to cool on wire rack.

In a small bowl, mix together 1 cup powdered sugar with milk until desired consistency. When cookies have cooled, drizzle glaze over them.

These are ridiculously good! I made them for my family after we went to the orchard, and now I have to make another batch, as we ate them so quickly. I had to use my KitchenAid to mix everything together, but they still ended up perfectly. Thanks for a wonderful recipe!
