I love, love, love Moroccan spices and flavouring. I use this so much, as a dry rub for meat, sprinkled over dips and fried vegetables. Just give it a try!
Mix all the ingredients in a bowl and stir. Save in an airtight jar and it will keep for a few months.

I know. We brought some home with us from Morocco, but we ran out rather quickly. So I looked for a recipe and kept changing the amounts and finally came up with this one.

I love zaatar. I use it in sooo many ways, alone with olive oil on pita bread, on chicken, with cheese. It works with so many things. Crazy really and sooo yummy.
