Description

Super easy. It’s boring but tastes awesome: Tomato-Jalapeño Enchilada Sauce.

Ingredients

  • 25 ounces, fluid Tomato Sauce, Canned
  • 1 whole Sweet Onion, Sliced
  • 1 whole Clove Garlic
  • 4 slices Jalapeños, Jarred
  • ¾ teaspoons Chili Powder
  • ¾ teaspoons Cumin
  • ½ teaspoons Oregano
  • ¼ teaspoons Thyme
  • 2 Tablespoons Fresh Cilantro
  • 2 Tablespoons White Wine Vinegar
  • ¾ cups Chicken Stock
  • ¼ cups Sour Cream
  • 1 dash Coarse Salt
  • 1 dash Ground Pepper
  • 1 pinch Sugar

Preparation

1. Combine all ingredients in a blender and puree until smooth.
2. Add the pureed mixture into a medium sauce pan and simmer, stirring until thickened, about 10 minutes.
3. Pour over prepared enchiladas.
