Description

A sweet and tangy sauce with a kick of spice for all your summer BBQ needs.

Ingredients

  • 1 Tablespoon Olive Oil
  • 4 cloves Garlic
  • ½ cups Low Sodium Soy Sauce
  • ⅔ cups Ketchup
  • 2 Tablespoons Worcestershire Sauce
  • 1-½ teaspoon Sriracha
  • 2 teaspoons Smoked Paprika
  • 1 cup Stout Beer
  • ⅓ cups Brown Sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Onion Powder

Preparation

Yields about 1 1/2 cups.

In a pot over medium heat, add the oil and allow to get hot but not smoking. Add the garlic and stir until you can smell it, about 30 seconds. Add the remaining ingredients and stir until combined. Allow to cook until thickened, stirring occasionally, about 15 minutes.

Store in an airtight container in the fridge.

This sauce DOES go with everything. I put it on steak, chicken, and deer sausage and it was amazing on all three.

This is the best combination of tangy, sweet, and spicy. I normally don’t like bbq sauces because I find them almost cloying, but this sauce is light-tasting while still being flavorful. Went very well with burgers, grilled chicken, and fudgy brownies (no, really!). Yeah, I’d put it on almost anything.
