As implied in the title, this recipe is ridiculously simple. No canning equipment required—and it’s delicious!
1. Combine strawberries and sugar in a medium saucepan, and bring to a simmer over medium-high heat, stirring frequently. Reduce heat to medium and simmer 1 hour or until thick, stirring occasionally.
2. Remove from heat, and stir in lemon juice. Cool to room temperature.
Enjoy!

Easy and very tasty. Nice change from all the work of canning, when you only have a limited amount of berries.
