Description

A great new spice rub to place on your steaks. I was always a fan simple salt and pepper until I created this rub.

Ingredients

  • 4 Tablespoons Coarse Salt
  • 1 Tablespoon Coarsely Cracked Black Pepper
  • 1 Tablespoon Onion Powder
  • 1 Tablespoon Paprika
  • ½ Tablespoons Granulated Garlic
  • ½ Tablespoons Dried Rosemary, Lightly Crushed
  • ½ Tablespoons Crushed Red Chili Flakes
  • ½ Tablespoons Dried Thyme

Preparation

Simply place everything in a small bowl and mix well.

When you are ready to grill your steak, lightly coat both sides of your steak with the rub, and let it sit at room temperature while you get your grill on an extremely high heat.

Trust me on this rub, it is a real winner.

I made this without the rosemary & it makes an incredible steak seasoning! Since I’m not a fan or rosemary, I’ll just pretend it was optional & give you a big thumbs up for another great recipe! Thanks for sharing.

This was DELICIOUS!!! It made my steak taste like one you would find at a great steakhouse. My husband said it was the best steak he’d ever had! High praise from a steak lover! :) I had never done a rub before because somehow it seemed like more work than a marinade, but is was actually easier and I’ll definitely be doing this again because the flavor was much better. Thanks!!

I left out the rosemary, (not my favorite herb), & this recipe makes an excellent steak seasoning!
