Make your own homemade spicy pickles this BBQ season.
Halve, quarter or slice (1/8 inch thick) the Kirby cucumbers depending on the type of pickles you want. Place cucumbers into clean mason or pickling jar(s).
Combine the water, salt, sugar and vinegar in a bowl and mix until sugar and salt dissolve. Pour water mixture into the pickling jar(s).
Add the rest of the ingredients and seal jar(s). Place in refrigerator overnight or up to 1 week.
