After you make this homemade ketchup, I guarantee you will never be able to look at the popular condiment again. On second thought, you may not want to make this since it will ruin all storebought ketchup for you!
Saute onions in olive oil for 5 minutes until translucent. Add garlic and saute for 2 additional minutes.
Add remaining ingredients and quickly bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 45–60 minutes until thick and the consistency of ketchup.
Puree in food processor until smooth. Bottle and refrigerate for up to 4 weeks.
