Description

With cranberries, pomegranate juice, orange juice, brown sugar, and cinnamon, this is glorious. The look! The smell! The taste! A triple threat. I also discovered recently how terrific it is mixed with yogurt and used as a dip. Try it!

Get your holiday underway by making some. It’s glorious.

Ingredients

  • 1 bag (12 Oz. Bag) Fresh Or Frozen Cranberries
  • 1 cup Pomegranate Juice
  • ¼ cups Orange Juice
  • 1 cup Packed Brown Sugar
  • 2 teaspoons Cinnamon
  • 1 pinch Salt And Pepper

Preparation

Note: You can make this up to a week ahead of time and keep refrigerated in an airtight container.

In a medium saucepan mix cranberries, pomegranate juice, orange juice, brown sugar, and cinnamon. Season with a pinch of salt and pepper.

Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to a simmer and cook, stirring occasionally, until the cranberries pop and the sauce has thickened a little, about 10 minutes.

Remove from heat. Let cool to room temperature before serving.

The cinnamon makes it! I added a bit more oj–I used fresh-squeezed and put in what I got from a large orange. Thanks, will use this recipe again.
