These are basically the same as the waffles by the same name that are found in the Better Homes and Gardens New Cook Book (well really it is the old new cookbook). Only difference is a bit of a difference in the oil measurement.

Yum! These turned out very good. I found that they needed to cook at a slightly lower temp than my other recipes. We topped them with strawberries – my kids loved them! Thanks for sharing!

These turned out great! This is an easy fast recipe that makes cripsy waffles. The only change I made was to add a teaspoon of vanilla and 1/3 cup of flaxseed meal.

After seeing a comment that this recipe didn’t have a lot of flavor, I decided to add a teaspoon of vanilla to the liquid mixture. I also found that I needed to add a bit more flour because the batter was so thin that they were not crisping up in my waffle iron.

I have a square two-waffle iron, and this made about a dozen waffles total giving me enough to freeze to toast up later this week. I will definitely make these again.

Great texture, but I found them to be a bit salty.

I tripled the recipe for my family of 6 and has LOTS of leftovers–enough to refrigerate some for this week and freeze the rest.

Even though I used whole wheat flour, these waffles still came out light and fluffy. Great texture, easy to make, great taste. I have an El Cheap-o round waffle iron, and this recipe made 7 waffles.
