Description

Sweet and salty, with big bites of dried fruit and crunchy nuts. Perfect for breakfast or a light snack!

Ingredients

  • FOR THE DRY INGREDIENTS:
  • ¾ pounds, ⅜ ounces, weight Oats
  • 5-⅓ ounces, weight Coconut Flakes
  • 6-¼ ounces, weight Nuts And/or Seeds
  • 3-⅝ ounces, weight Dried Fruit
  • _____
  • FOR THE SYRUP:
  • 3-⅝ ounces, weight Light Brown Sugar
  • 3-⅝ ounces, weight Maple Syrup
  • ¾ ounces, weight Honey
  • 3-⅝ ounces, weight Olive Oil
  • ¼ ounces, weight Cinnamon
  • ¼ ounces, weight Salt

Preparation

Combine all dry ingredients except dried fruit in a large mixing bowl. Pour all syrup ingredients over dried ingredients and mix until completely coated. Lay on 2 large parchment-lined sheet trays and bake at 250ºF for 1 1/2 hours.

Let cool, break apart, add dried fruit and enjoy!

I’ve made this granola at least 10 times and it is perfect! Great as is or to dr up to suit different tastes. I often times switch up the types of nuts used or add pumpkin seeds. I’ve even added pumpkin purée to make a pumpkin granola. I love that this recipe uses weights as the measure, makes it super easy to just set my bowl on the scale and dump all the ingredients in. Try this granola, it’s good and easy!
