I love my breakfast sausage, and these are an easy fix for a hearty breakfast!
Brown sausage in skillet. Drain the fat, and mix with block of cream cheese. Unroll crescent rolls and place a dollop of mixture on one triangle at the widest end. Roll up as you would a normal crescent roll and bake as directed on package.

My aunt made this for us when I was 7, and my entire family has been making them ever since. I have friends that I have shared the recipe with. We all love them BEST quick breakfast out there.

I make these using a muffin pan. I put the crescents in the muffin cups, fill with the mixture, then fold the corners over. They are a hit!

Made this yesterday. I’m flying solo, so I halved the recipe. I’m also lazy, so I spread half a can of the crescent roll dough in a square glass backing dish, threw in the sausage cream cheese mixture (to which I added a few drops of Texas Pete for kick), and spread the other half of the dough on top. Baking it for about 14 minutes in my oven resulted in easy Sunday morning deliciousness!

I made these yesterday and they turned out wonderfully! Quick, easy, and delicious—can it get any better? The only issue I encountered was that I doubled the recipe and was left with about a third of the sausage/cream cheese filling left over. Do you normally stuff the crescent rolls REALLY full?
