If you love biscuits and gravy, but don’t want to leave your pajamas and fuzzy slippers to run to the nearest restaurant or fast food place for breakfast, just make this! It’s so simple!
Place biscuits on a cookie sheet coated with cooking spray and cook according to package directions.
Break up sausage in a large pan and cook on medium-high heat until browned. Do not drain off the grease!
Add flour and stir until dissolved, allowing to cook for another minute or two. Add milk and stir. The gravy may look watery, but it will thicken quickly, so keep an eye on it and stir often. I always keep a little extra milk nearby to thin if needed. Add salt and pepper, but taste as you add! Turn off the heat when it has thickened to a desired consistency.
*I found that it definitely needs salt, but you will have to adjust the amount to your own taste. My measurements are approximate. The same goes for the black pepper.
Break open biscuits, top with gravy and enjoy!

I use this recipe, and sometimes add poached or scrambled eggs under the gravy…. YUM!
