The BEST granola ever. It’s addictive. Chunky peanut butter is important – the peanuts add a great crunch! Feel free to add other things like nuts, chocolate chips, peanut butter chips, etc.
Preheat your oven to 350.
In a big mixing bowl, mix all of the ingredients together, except the honey. The peanut butter and sugar will clump together – just break up the clumps with a spoon. I always leave a few, though – they taste amazing. Not all of the oats will look like they have any peanut butter flavor, but trust me, once it’s done baking you’ll have some heavenly PB granola.
Spread out the mixture onto a cookie sheet and bake for up to twenty minutes. After the first ten minutes, toss the granola so it bakes evenly. Drizzle the honey on top of the mixture at this time (I just eyeball the amount of honey), then put back in the oven for the remaining 10 minutes. Make sure to let the granola cool completely before storing in the fridge.
Put your granola on top of oatmeal, yogurt, ice cream or eat as cereal. Or by the handful, like me.

Started with your recipe…and then started throwing in everything but the kitchen sink! Some sunflower seeds, slivered almonds, handful of milk chocolate chips, butterscotch chips, little bit of coconut. Mine came out a bit sweet, if there is such a thing, but everyone at work loved it. Next time I’ll give yours a try and will resist the urge to start adding. It really was delicious, I LOVED the peanut butter in it!

Channabanana, I usually bake for ten minutes, toss, drizzle with honey, then bake for another ten minutes. Sorry if my directions were confusing!!
And Becky, I hope the granola didn’t burn too much! I really have to keep an eye out on my granola – the cooking time seems to vary just slightly every time I make it!

This is fantastic! I tried it last night…so easy! 20 minutes was a bit too long, but that’s just because my oven is picky.
