Description

These Ebelskivers are as tasty as they are cute. A traditional Danish recipe that tastes amazing with a homemade sweet strawberry sauce.

Ingredients

  • 3 cups Whole Wheat Flour
  • 1 Tablespoon Baking Powder
  • 1-½ teaspoon Baking Soda
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • ⅓ cups Melted Butter
  • 3  Eggs
  • 3 cups Buttermilk
  • ½ cups Milk
  • Fresh Strawberry Syrup, To Serve (optional)

Preparation

Combine dry ingredients. Mix together well. Add wet ingredients and stir until combined. Cook in an Ebelskivers pan and enjoy!

This recipe also works fantastic as pancake batter. We like to top it with fresh strawberry syrup!
