A Croatian alternative to pancakes. Chewy and hearty.
You will need a strong spatula and a bit of arm muscle for this one! But it’s worth it!
1. Combine all ingredients except butter.
2. Melt butter in a large frying pan over medium-high heat. Add batter.
3. Allow batter to cook for 1 to 2 minutes. Flip it over and cook it for another minute or two. Turn the heat down to medium.
4. Using the end of the spatula, start breaking up the batter into smaller pieces. Continue to cut/break the batter. Stir/flip the pieces to cook evenly.
5. Cook until golden on the outside and fully-cooked on the inside, about 10 to 15 minutes total. The pieces should be about 1/2″ to 1″ in size.
6. Serve hot with maple syrup.
