Traditional German pancake with a great strawberry sauce on top.
For the strawberry sauce, I just put the frozen strawberries into a microwave safe bowl and defrost them for about 3 minutes in the microwave. Then take a fork and smash them. This will make a great strawberry sauce for your pancakes.
Preheat oven to 400 F. Place butter in 9×13″ baking pan and let it melt in the oven while the oven preheats.
While you wait, mix flour, milk, eggs, and salt together in a bowl. Remove pan with melted butter from the oven and pour batter into the pan. Stir and smooth the top. Return the pan to the oven and bake for 15-20 minutes. The sides will rise quite a bit, so make sure it is in the middle or lower section of the oven.
Serve with the berry sauce, maple syrup and/or powdered sugar.
