Fluffy buttermilk pancakes with applesauce and spices. These are sweet enough to not need any syrup.
Combine all dry ingredients in a medium bowl. In another bowl, combine all liquid ingredients except melted butter. Make a well in the center of the dry ingredients and pour in the liquid ingredients. Stir just until combined. Then stir in the melted butter.
Cook in a greased or non-stick skillet over medium-low heat until fluffy and golden brown on both sides. Makes about 12 pancakes.
