Homemade maple syrup made from ingredients you probably have in your kitchen already. Goes great on Perfect Pancakes!
Mix sugars and water together in medium saucepan over medium-high heat. Stir occasionally until mixture comes to a boil.
Reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for 10 minutes. After 10 minutes, stir in maple and vanilla, and serve warm over your favorite pancakes, waffles, or french toast.
Can be stored in sealed container (bottle) in the refrigerator for a couple weeks, just reheat in microwave and serve.
Recipe can easily be halved or doubled depending on your need. Also, the measurements of the maple and vanilla are approximate, adjust to your taste.

Kids like this better than any store bought syrup. Easy to make and stores well in the fridge!!

We use something almost exactly like this, except without the brown sugar. It’s really really good! WAY better than the store bought stuff.
