Description

Add a dollop of whipped cream and this breakfast or brunch for two will definitely hit the spot!

Ingredients

  • 2 whole Eggs, Beaten
  • 1 teaspoon Cinnamon
  • ½ teaspoons Pure Vanilla Extract
  • 4 slices Your Favorite Bread
  • 2 whole Fresh, Ripe Peaches, Peeled, Pitted, Cut Into Thick Slices
  • 2 Tablespoons Sweet Cream Butter, Melted
  • 2 Tablespoons Pure Honey
  • ¼ cups Peach Jam
  • 2 Tablespoons Good Vermont Maple Syrup
  • Whipped Cream, To Serve

Preparation

Preheat oven to 400ºF. Spray a grill or griddle pan and set over medium heat.

In a shallow bowl, add beaten eggs, cinnamon, vanilla extract, and whisk together. Dip each slice of bread in the mixture and place on the grill or griddle pan. Lightly grill for 1–2 minutes each side.

To a bowl, add peach slices, butter and honey. Stir gently to coat. Add each peach slice to the grill and grill for 1–2 minutes each side.

In an oven safe dish, lay lightly grilled bread slices in a single layer. Add grilled peaches on top.

In a saucepan, add peach jam and maple syrup on low heat and melt together. Pour over the top of peaches and French toast. Place baking dish into the oven on the middle rack and bake 10 minutes.

Serve with whipped cream and enjoy!
