Description

Simply scrumptious French toast loaded with fresh peaches and cream. You’ll love this combination!

Ingredients

  • FOR THE FRENCH TOAST:
  • 8 slices Your Favorite Bread ( I Use A Bakery Sweet Bread Loaf And Slice It Myself)
  • 3 whole Large Eggs, Beaten
  • ¼ cups Whole Milk
  • ½ teaspoons Cinnamon
  • FOR THE TOPPING:
  • 2 Tablespoons Sweet Cream Butter
  • ¼ cups Brown Sugar
  • 4 whole Fresh Ripe Peaches (pitted And Sliced Thinly)
  • ½ cups Heavy Cream
  • 2 Tablespoons Granulated Sugar
  • ½ teaspoons Pure Vanilla Extract

Preparation

Liberally spray a large griddle pan with cooking spray and heat on medium high heat.

In a mixing bowl add beaten eggs, milk and cinnamon and whisk well. Add one bread slice at a time and coat each side with egg wash and add it to the heated griddle pan. Add as many as you can fit into the pan in a single layer. They cook fairly quickly at 3 minutes per side. When done, add them to a large platter/dish. Continue until each slice has been fried. Cover plate of cooked toast with a foil tent.

In a large skillet or frying pan add butter and brown sugar and heat on medium heat. Add sliced peaches when the butter and sugar are incorporated. Cook sliced peaches, stirring frequently, for 8-10 minutes. Shut off heat and cover pan with a lid.

In a mixing bowl using a hand mixer add heavy cream, granulated sugar and vanilla extract and whip on high speed until cream is light and fluffy.

In individual serving dishes add several slices of cinnamon French toast, a large helping of cooked peaches then top it off with several dollops of whipped cream. Enjoy!

Note: This is one of my family’s all time favorites. I am able to cook the peaches on the stove top and French toast on the griddle pan at the same time. I usually whip the cream and put it in the refrigerator beforehand. Once you have made this recipe a couple of times, it is a cinch to make again!
