Easy and sweet traditional Jewish egg noodle dish. Great for brunch!
Preheat oven to 350°F. Butter a 13×9 inch baking dish. Spread uncooked noodles over the bottom of the prepared dish and sprinkle with raisins.
In a large bowl, whisk eggs, sour cream, butter, and sugar until smooth. Whisk in milk, cottage cheese, cinnamon, and vanilla. Pour mixture over the noodles. Let stand for 5 minutes.
Cover the kugel with foil and bake for about 45 minutes. Remove foil and continue baking for about 15 minutes more, or until set in the center. Let cool.
Cut into squares. This can either be served warm or at room temperature.

Excellent. Whisked all the liquid ingredients together in my stand mixer and added half a cameo apple. So easy. Love not having to boil the noodles first. Served with Jill’s Pork–it’s wrappen in bacon. Soooo not Kosher, but wonderful.
