This one is a real classic. Slightly seared chipped beef, cooked in an easy gravy sauce and poured over toast. It’s a winner.
Melt butter in a skillet on medium heat. Once it begins to melt, toss in the chopped beef slices. Stir, and get the beef a bit crispy along the edges. Toss in flour and continue to stir to incorporate all of the flour and cook it, about 1 minute or so.
Next, pour in milk and continue to stir for a few minutes until the sauce thickens. Add some cracked pepper. Continue to cook for a few minutes.
Stack the toast, and pour everything over the toast.

Thanks All! I’ll have to give this one a shot on a baked potato, which just spurred another idea.

Try this on a baked potato with some lightly toasted & chopped hazelnuts for garnish. Delicious!
