A great breakfast or brunch for two on a lazy weekend morning!
Spray a griddle pan or large skillet with your favorite cooking spray. Heat on medium high heat.
In a large wide bowl add eggs and gently whisk with the lemon, lime and orange juices. Stir well. On a plate add panko breadcrumbs, brown sugar and the lemon, lime and orange zest. Mix together.
Dip the bread slices one by one in the egg mixture coating both sides then place on the panko plate and coat well. Add coated bread to the griddle pan. Repeat with each slice of bread. Cook for 3-4 minutes per side until golden brown.
We love this with homemade citrus syrup and a dollop of whipping cream over the top! Yum! Enjoy!
