Description

One of the best things I’ve ever tasted. But that’s just me, a bacon fanatic.

Ingredients

  • ½ Tablespoons Cinnamon
  • 3 Tablespoons Brown Sugar
  • 8 slices Applewood Smoked Bacon

Preparation

Preheat oven to 375ºF. Lay a wire rack on top of a baking sheet.

On a large plate, mix sugar and cinnamon. Dredge bacon slices through the mix, lightly patting the sugar on top. Lay strips on the wire rack and bake for 20–25 minutes, flipping the bacon once. Remove and drain on paper towels for 1 minute.

You can also make this with brown sugar and cayenne pepper, for a sweet and spicy version. Very Good!!!

Great taste (used mine on the cupcake recipe) I used thick cut as well and had to bake it a bit long. GREAT!

really delicious recipe. i only had thick cut applewood bacon on hand, so i baked mine a bit longer. still, terrific. =)
