A yummy breakfast cake with streusel topping. Even yummier with a little milk or cream poured over top.
Cream shortening and sugar. Add eggs and beat until light and fluffy. Sift flour, baking powder, cinnamon and salt and add alternately with milk, beating until smooth after each addition. Pour into a 9″ square pan and sprinkle with butter and brown sugar mixture on top. Bake at 350 degrees for about 30 minutes.
