A quick favorite, easy to make for a large group or hungry kids on a Saturday morning!
Preheat your oven to 400 degrees.
In a frying pan, brown one pound of sausage (pork, turkey, deer—get creative!). In a large bowl, combine Bisquick, eggs, milk, and cheese. Once it is well mixed, pour into a glass casserole dish. Drain the grease from your sausage and add to the waiting mixture. Feel free to sprinkle more cheese or add salt and pepper to taste. Sometimes, I even add onions, spinach, etc.
Bake for 20-25 minutes in a 400-degree oven. It should have a firm texture and should be beginning to turn golden brown.
Serve hot or cold. If you have leftovers, there is no shame in finding yourself in the middle of the night, hovering over the dish with a fork!

Made this for the fam this morn, and it was a big hit! I did up the Bisquick from 1 cup to 1 1/2 cups to make it a touch more “biscuity”, especially since I used a hot & spicy sausage. I also didn’t have any shredded cheddar, so I used colby jack instead.
This will definitely become a staple for us, it was so easy, and Yum-O!

Sorry you didn’t enjoy–definitely more of an egg consistency than biscuits–and definitely a fav here in the south!

I made this on Saturday for my 3 kids, my 3 nephews and myself. It was okay….I will not make it again, not because it was bad but if I don’t love a recipe, I don’t make it again. I thought it would be biscuity but there were too many eggs for that.
