Description

The best way to start a typical stressful, fun, exhausting, exciting, happy day!

Ingredients

  • 2-⅛ ounces, weight Crushed Oats
  • 2 cups Plain Yoghurt
  • 1 whole Banana
  • 1 whole Orange
  • ½ cups Nuts (I Prefer Walnuts)
  • 1 whole Apple

Preparation

Put the crushed oats in a bowl and cover them with water. Use enough water so that the oats are just covered. The water will be soaked up the next morning. If you want to make the muesli a little richer, you can also soak the oats in milk (if you do this, put them in the refrigerator overnight). I think water works just fine though.

The next morning, whenever you’re ready for breakfast, mix the yoghurt and the oats together in a nice big bowl. Peel then cut the banana into thin slices. Peel and cut the orange into pieces. I like to remove the membranes and cut the flesh into little pieces. I don’t overly enjoy the skin and am a bit picky that way. You don’t have to go through that trouble though. Just cut the orange anyway you like it into nice bite-size pieces. Chop the nuts. Core and grate the apple.

Put everything into the bowl with the yoghurt-oat-mix and stir until it’s all well combined. Serve and enjoy!

You can also add raisins or pomegranate seeds or figs, basically anything you feel like. It’s a great power breakfast that’ll give you plenty of energy for a busy day.
