A yummy danish made in a 9×13 pan, then cut into squares. Great for brunch!
Grease a 9 x 13 pan. Unroll one tube of rolls into the bottom of a pan. Beat 1 cup of sugar, cream cheese, egg yolks, and almond extract until smooth. Spread over the bottom layer of rolls.
Unroll the second tube of rolls and place on top. Beat egg white until very frothy, and spread on top. Sprinkle with remaining 1/2 cup of sugar. Sprinkle with almonds.
Bake at 350F for 30 minutes. Allow to cool. This may be served slightly warm or chilled.
