Description

This is by far the best banana bread recipe I’ve ever had! Everyone I have ever shared it with agrees, and anyone who has ever tried it always asks for more. And they also ask for the recipe!

The secret is a touch a cinnamon and the chocolate chips!

Ingredients

  • 1-¼ cup Sugar
  • ½ cups Softened Butter Or Margarine
  • 2 whole Eggs
  • ½ cups Milk
  • 4 whole Mashed Ripe Bananas
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla
  • 2-½ cups Flour
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Baking Soda
  • 1-½ teaspoon Cinnamon
  • ½ cups Mini Chocolate Chips
  • ½ cups Chopped Walnuts If Desired

Preparation

Preheat oven to 350 F.

On a large bowl cream together sugar and butter, then mix in the eggs one at a time. Mix in milk, bananas and vanilla. Then stir in the dry ingredients.

Pour into a greased standard size loaf pan. Bake for about 60 minutes for a regular loaf pan (or 30 minutes for mini loaves).

Enjoy!

Excellent! Everyone LOVED the moistness and flavor (I added extra bananas) and the fact that the pan was sugared instead of floured…..the nuts on top…bravo!
