Description

Simple and delicious Cinnamon Raisin Bread.

Ingredients

  • 1-½ cup Luke Warm Water
  • 1 Tablespoon Or 1 Packet Of Active Dry Yeast
  • ¾ Tablespoons Salt
  • 3-¼ cups Unbleached All-purpose Flour
  • 1 cup Sugar, Divided (Half For The Bread And Half To Sprinkle On Top)
  • 2 Tablespoons Cinnamon To Sprinkle
  • ⅓ cups Raisins

Preparation

Mix together water, yeast, salt, flour, and 1/2 cup of sugar. Cover with a damp paper towel and let rise 2 hours.

Then gently without moving your dough too much, on a lightly floured surface, make your dough flat. Sprinkle the remaining 1/2 cup of sugar, sprinkle cinnamon and put raisins.

Then gently roll up and then fold over the sides, making a ball. Cook at 380 degrees F until golden brown, about 30 minutes.
