For a quick pretzel fix these are great I think next time I will soak them longer in the baking soda mix and lighten my sprinkling of salt. Thanks for helping me with the pretzel cravings

These were really good. I will make them again for sure, and perhaps try to get a little more of the baking soda solution on each piece. I served w/ marinara or spicy mustard dipping sauces.

I thought the idea for these was great, but the salt was overwhelming for us and they didn’t taste much like a pretzel. Next time I think I’ll lessen the salt and they should be great. Thanks for the recipe!

I kind of forgot to halve the seasoning as I had halved the amount of dough I used, but these were great, if a bit salty I’ll definitely make them again.

These were delicious! However, they didn’t have an overwhelming pretzel flavor. I wondered if maybe I should soak the bread pieces in the baking soda solution longer than a dip? They still were very good and I will be making them around the holidays for a quick nibble. Also, I found it was easier to dip the dough in the parmesan after it was brushed with butter so it’d stick.

Yeah, it does! The baking soda is what gives these the pretzel taste.

Interesting, but where the Pretzel come in? Does it have to do with baking soda solution?
