These savory crescents are something a little different that I created to have as a side for a salad (jumbo crescents) or as appetizers (regular crescents).
- Combine goat cheese, milk, dill and generously season with salt and pepper.
– Grate 1 beet (give it a little squeeze to remove extra liquid).
– Spread out crescent dough pieces and assemble by adding goat cheese mixture at the large end of dough, then add grated beets. Roll up, pinch ends and shape.
– Place on baking sheet and bake at 375F° for 20 minutes. Let cool for 5 minutes and serve immediately!
