A fun, easy, dramatic way to start your morning off right!
In a large bowl, sift together the flour, baking powder, fkax seed, salt and sugar. Pour in the milk, egg, vanilla, and melted butter. Mix until combined.
Separate batter into six bowls. Add 1-4 drops of GEL food coloring into each bowl.
Red
Orange
Yellow
Green
Blue
Purple
(If you are a purist, Indigo as well)
Heat a lightly oiled griddle or frying pan over medium high heat. Pour or scoop the batter onto the griddle, using approximately 1/4 cup for each pancake. Brown on both sides and serve hot.

Oh, holy crap! We used to put food coloring into our pancakes all the time when we were kids! I had totally forgotten. Your photo is beautiful, and I’m always up for a new pancake recipe. Thanks.
