I grew up having this syrup on my pancakes, waffles, and French toast. It’s yum-i-licious! Leftovers can be saved in the fridge and reheated for future use.
Combine all ingredients in a small sauce pan. Heat on medium until the mixture comes to a boil, then lower heat and allow to simmer for 5-10 minutes, stirring occasionally. Enjoy!

It never goes bad, but it will crystallize after a couple of weeks, in which case you can reheat it slowly (I put it in a glass jar and then in a hot water bath on the stove) and it will melt back down.
