Delicious Cinnamon French Toast the whole family will love!
Start by heating up a non-stick skillet over medium heat.
In a medium sized bowl, beat eggs together with the milk. Add the extracts, cinnamon, and nutmeg and combine until well incorporated.
Once the skillet is warmed, melt a pat of butter to coat the bottom of the pan. Dip the slices of bread into the egg mixture to coat both sides. For the thicker pieces, I leave them in the bowl to soak up a little extra egg mixture.
Place the coated slices of bread into the pan. Depending on how hot the pan is, cook time can be 1-3 minutes each side. Turn once golden brown to finish the other side.
Plate with fresh butter and real maple syrup and enjoy!
