Stewy and delicious four-ingredient cranberry beans.
1. In a skillet over medium-high heat, heat the olive oil and saute the raw cranberry beans with the sage.
2. Once the skins become opaque, add the chicken stock and simmer over low heat. Season with salt and pepper to taste as you go. The saltiness will become more potent as they cook, so wait till the end before you get heavy-handed with it.
3. Cook until fork tender, about 50 minutes, or until they are as done as you wish. Taste, taste, taste.
