An easy deliciously rich cookie that satisfies any and all chocolate cravings! I’ve experimented substituting half the all purpose flour with whole-wheat and it’s been just as yummy! Three kinds of chocolate with a hint of salt make a lovely pairing!
Preheat the oven to 325 degrees F.
Combine the flour, soda, cocoa powder and salt in a bowl and set aside. Melt the butter and semi-sweet chocolate in a double boiler. After it’s melted and well combined, blend it with the sugar, eggs, and vanilla. Add the flour mixture into the creamed mixture in parts until it’s all mixed well. Try not to overmix, and stop when everything is blended. Fold in the chocolate chips/chunks and drop the batter in dollops onto baking sheets, a couple of inches apart. Bake for 15 minutes. Makes about 3 dozen.
